Because of the recent outbreak of Newcastle disease found to affect some of California’s poultry, these two ducks have spent the first few months of their lives living in quarantine in a dry area with no pond or water in which to swim. Today changed all that! Makes us happy to give them a swimming area of their own. Now we just have to keep the safe from predators….which is a whole different story!
