Darla has been hibernating for months on end, only poking her head up on the occasional warmer day. But now that spring is here she is back in the swing of things again! It’s amazing how tortoises have the ability to hibernate for so long without eating or drinking and then emerge as if it’s been not but a five minute slumber.
